Do you clean the pizza steel? And if it’s not stainless, does it rust at all?
Ah ok, thanks. I live in Australia and sadly it appears there are no $20 pizza steels available here. Looking more like $100! Thanks for the video…great tips!
steels usually come pre-seasoned (heat treated with vegetable oil) to make them rust and stick resistant, and you can always season it yourself, same as cast iron etc
tivoenator I wipe it with a dry cloth only. It can rust. Ketchup fixes that.
