Rose, you’re funny without even trying, and I love you for that 😘 I was a meat eater for the longest time and it was only recently that I decided to ditch meat and ease my way to plant based lifestyle. Your videos are very helpful, to be honest. It encourages me to push thru with this lifestyle. I am doing it slowly, but I am hopeful that I can continue with this. Okay Cheap lazy vegan , here’s the thing. There is nothing lazy about this recipe. This is wayyy too involved to be the Spaghetti and Ketchup I have grown to know and love by way of my husband Fred who made it for me through both of my pregnancies. “Spaghetti and Ketchup” as opposed to “Ketchup Spaghetti” is cooked spaghetti noodles drained and then you add butter first and then ketchup. MAYBE a little cracked pepper IF you are feeling fancy. Now that’s cheap and lazy. And then my husband’s big thing is a side of cold tuna fish salad which is literally tuna and mayo (and no I don’t eat that anymore). It all sounds basic and maybe even a little gross, but my husband and son just revisited this food combo just a few nights ago and they both had like 3 helpings and could not stop raving about it. I put ketchup in my marinara sauce when making spaghetti anyway. I like the sweet tang it gives. I’m gonna try this.

Back in my Poverty Days i used ketchup as a cross between tomato sauce and tomato paste, although it’s sweeter than both. It’s a good addition to any tomato based dish that needs a little sumthin-sumthin. Your spaghetti looks really good, here, and now I’m getting ideas….Thumbs Up!
