I’m very happy that my two favorite Mexican restos – Habanero’s and Tequila n Quesada – are offering tofu on their menu now, although they always had beans as a good source of plant protein.
Did you just say you don’t need protein in your diet…. in a diet you need protein, carbs and vitamins 😂
In case anyone is wondering, you’d need to eat 3 cups of broccoli to get to a 100 calories of broccoli, meanwhile, 100 calories of steak is 1.3 oz (compared to 3 oz which is considered a serving size) which would be about 1 meatball maybe. In conclusion, that study was bogus (factual but very misleading) you would need to eat 24x the amount of broccoli to get the same amount of protein as you would a steak (not to mention that if you were eating a steak you would probably be eating 2-300 calories worth) and thats why protein is important for vegans: no one wants to eat that much f**ing broccoli 🙂

I eat a lot of broccoli because I love the taste NOT because of the protein. Beans are my favourite protein source.
How annoying. 🤦♀️ What’s wring with letting people know some high protein vegan meals. Sheesh.
