  1. To everyone saying this is the same as bibimbap… No lol. Yes, it uses similar ingredients but not the same. For bibimbap, you must have red pepper paste aka gochujang, and you must mix everything together in the bowl (bibimbap means mixed rice, literally). Bibimbap usually uses spinach and sometimes carrots, but also usually contains other veggies like bean sprouts, cooked radish (not pickled), etc. Kimbap almost always contains pickled radish. Kimbap is also seasoned with sesame oil and salt, and bibimbap sometimes uses sesame oil but that’s not the main seasoning (gochujang is). Anyway, yes I realize they seem very similar but Imo they are different! Just wanted to point that out. Oh and for those saying I don’t know much about Korean culture… Lol, I was born there, speak the language, grew up eating Korean food all the time and have visited korea many many times. So please don’t assume I don’t know much about my own culture…

  2. Korean people probably don’t like when you say Korean “sushi” because sushi is a Japanese dish, they probably think it’s disrespectful to the culture.

  3. Lmfao I love all the “Korean experts” up in here. What’s next ya’ll gonna say? “Omg like that’s not danmuji (picked radish) it’s supposed to be bright yellow color.” Nah danmuji is a clear/white color people just dye it yellow.
