  1. which hack is your favourite?!? don’t forget to leave YOUR lazy cooking hacks below… I’m loving the hacks so far <3

    1. Cheap Lazy Vegan I process cilantro onion and garlic and pour into ice cube trays. After freezing until solid I transfer into a bag for future use. When I’m ready to make lentils or beans, I’ve got what I need at my fingertips. I specifically keep these trays for non-water use only. Who wants garlicky ice cubes? Keep up the great work Rose.

    2. When you freeze the onion or garlic, do you have trouble with it stinking up the freezer? If it doesn’t, I will do this…what a time-saver!

    3. Lazyhack: with my fresh cut herb from my garden, i put them in a ice tray with vegetal oil in the freezer. So when i have to cook , just put it my pan and fry my vegetables. Easy and delicious!

  2. 1. Freeze fresh ginger. Toss whole ginger root in freezer. When needed, take out and grate (microplane is perfect), no need to thaw or peel. Grates easier and faster frozen, doesn’t dry up or go slimy.

    2. Food processor slicing blade/disk. During summer I get on salad kicks and eat a big salad as a meal everyday. Take cucumber, bell pepper, carrots, celery, etc and run them through a food processor w/ a slicing disk. I store that mix in a gallon zip bag in refrigerator, buy a big container of mixed salad greens. Each day just grab a couple big handfuls of greens, a handful of prepped veg, add some canned beans if you want and dressing of choice.
A food processor w/ a slicing blade is also great for prepping stir fry veg or making cole slaw.

    3. No knead bread. This is relative lazy, not absolute lazy. But if you like eating fresh bread and are too cheap to buy it, this is amazing. Mix flour, yeast, salt, water in a large tub w/ lid, keep in fridge up to 10 days. When you want bread, take out a chunk of dough, fold into a loaf and let rise, bake. A few minutes work, and hour of waiting and bam! fresh bread. Recipes and directions vary slightly based on what end result you want, but its all pretty forgiving. I use 3cups water, 2tsp yeast, 2 tsp salt, 6 cups all purpose flour. Add olive oil and you have pizza dough.
