Vegan Red Velvet Cookies

Recipe:

Dry Ingredients:
188 grams (1 and 1/2 cups) wheat flour
21 grams (1/4 cup) cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients:
114 grams (1/2 cup) vegan butter
150 grams (3/4 cup) brown sugar
50 grams (1/4 cup) granulated sugar
1 egg replacer
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 drops red gel food coloring

Instructions:
Mix the dry ingredients together in a large bowl and set aside.

Beat the butter and sugars together until creamy and combined.

Add in the egg replacer, vanilla extract and food coloring and beat until combined.

Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix gently until just combined (don’t overmix).

Roll into 14 balls and freeze at least 30 minutes.

Bake at 350F for 12 minutes or until tops are cracking.
