VEGAN BIG MAC PIZZA

This pizza creation has been one of our obsessions for our last few pizza nights so we thought we’d share it with you guys. The Big Mac pizza is full of fast food flavour minus the unhealthy cheese and meat patty. Give it a try for your next pizza night! It’s so easy and delicious!

MAC SAUCE recipe:

Ingredients

Use your favourite homemade or store-bought pizza dough or try our 5 ingredient EASY PIZZA DOUGH recipe:

Cheese Sauce
1 small carrot/ about 1/2 cup (boiled until just tender and drained)
1/3 cup water
1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 1/2 tbsp tahini
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
1/4-1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp turmeric (optional, for a touch of yellow colour)

Blend everything together until very smooth.

Pizza toppings:
Cheese sauce
Veggie ground round (fry for 4-5 minutes to brown)
2 tbsp sesame seeds
a few slices of pickles
sliced onions

Top with shredded lettuce and Mac Sauce

*BAKING NOTE: We bake our pizza at a very high temperature (450-475 degrees F) for 8-10 minutes. It bakes very quickly this way and give the crust the perfect crunch and flash cooks the toppings. Feel free to bake the pizza anyway you feel comfortable with or using your favourite pizza recipe method. Check out our pizza video here for tips:

  1. One thing I have always wanted to make (or see someone else make) is a dessert pizza. Chocolate dough with marshmellow for the cheese and a strawberry sauce for the sauce, nuts etc… If you ever happen to have a lot of dessert items and have the urge to make this, please do lol. I always wondered how it would come out (but I can’t eat any of the things I just mentioned lol)

  3. Just tried this tonight with my family! I made us all personal sized ones. Instead of carrot I used cashews and added a little chao cheese ontop. It was as a big hit, thank you!!:)
