  1. Hi Gretchen, I absolutely loved the 12 cookies of Christmas series. It was wonderful to find Christmas cookies that were vegan. I have not tried any yet, but I just received my egg replacer from Amazon today! I am so excited to use it. I got three bags for a single price. So I am all set! I I am going to try the inside out Peanut Butter Cups first as I am a peanut butter lover. Then I will be trying your gingerbread with my niece. We will be making Christmas cookies on Friday. She is 4 years old and loves to bake. Thank you so much!

  2. Gretchen! I made these in the shape of people. They turned out so good! I didn’t have your egg replacer so I used applesauce and it worked fine. 🙂 I want to try the cinnamon bun cookies next.

  3. Oh, no – it’s the last part already 🙁 I really enjoyed these videos! Thank you for creating this great series! 🙂

  4. The cinnamon bun cookies were definitely my fav! The second half of the dough I used the next day to make the same thing as thumb print cookies out of laziness, and I just can’t get over how delicious it was! We will be using this recipe for my gingerbread house this year. Thanks!

  5. Yay gingerbread cookies. With the added pepper and cocoa this recipe sounds really uniquely flavorful. I like the idea of wreaths, but with the center cut through, and the one walled gingerbread houses will be eaten and enjoyed. Nobody ever seems to break and eat the 4 walled version. It’s excellent how you’ve presented your “12 days of cookies” recipes this early in December so people can get them baked and enjoyed! I found some lactic acid to make the tangy cream cheese rugelach and cinnamon bun cookie doughs next. No usual last minute rush because you’ve got 12 winning recipes organized in time for all the winter holidays people celebrate!
