HOW TO MAKE VEGAN CHOCOLATE CAKE!! MY FIRST EVER BAKING ATTEMPT !

I have never baked anything before, and this was my first attempt at baking a cake…and a vegan cake too!! If i can do it, anyone can. It came out delicious !

Two, 8-9 -inch cake tins
Preheat the oven to 180° (or 350 F)
Baking time 15min

Cake Ingredients:

1.5 cup organic soya milk (use almond if you want a substitute)
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1 + 2⁄3 cup of self raising flour
1.5 teaspoon baking powder
1⁄4 teaspoon salt
1⁄3 cup cocoa powder
3⁄4 cup caster sugar
1⁄3 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Icing:
1 cup vegan butter/ margarine (cold)
1⁄2 cup cocoa powder
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Few pieces of dark chocolate
2 to 3 tablespoons organic soya milk
3.5 – 4 cups caster/baking sugar

Decorating: (any vegan sprinkles of your choice)
Coconut and dark choc sprinkles
Satsumas (just for decoration as I ran out of strawberries!!)
