Homemade VEGAN WHOLE WHEAT Pizza

Recipe:
Dough…
1.5 cups warm water
1 tbsp instant dry yeast
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
3 cups whole wheat flour

*Mix water, sugar, and yeast and let it sit until it becomes foamy (about 10min)
*Add oil & salt, mix
*Add in 2 cups of flour slowly, mixing periodically until it becomes too thick to mix with wooden spoon
*Cover counter with flour and knead the dough for about 10 minutes, adding in 1 cup of flour periodically
*Cover clean bowl in oil and place the dough in the bowl. Cover with damp towel or plastic wrap and let rise for about 1 hour in a dry warm place

Sauce…
olive oil
3-4 cloves of garlic
half onion
2 cups tomato sauce
2 cups water
basil, salt, pepper to taste

*dice and saute garlic until golden
*add in onion and saute for 7ish minutes
*add tomato sauce and water, stir
*bring to a simmer and let cook for 20 minutes
*add in salt, pepper, and basil to taste

Pizza…
*preheat oven to 450F
*roll out desired piece of dough onto flour covered counter top
*grease pan with olive oil and place dough on pan
*add toppings
*bake for 15-20min
