  1. CHERRY ALMOND BUNDT CAKE RECIPE (vegan or not)

    PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 FAHRENHEIT (178 CELCIUS)

    Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl:
    3 cups flour
    2 cups sugar
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 teaspoons baking soda

    Add wet ingredients:
    2 cups milk (any milk of your choice, dairy or vegan)
    4 tablespoons cooking oil
    2 tablespoons vinegar (any vinegar)
    2 teaspoons almond extract.

    Mix until combined.
    Add 1/2 cup halved maraschino cherries.
    Pour into a greased and floured bundt pan (or any pan)
    Bake at 350 F until a toothpick comes out clean.

    Frost if desired.

  2. Thanks for a delicious looking recipe – and vegan, too! Doubled goodness!
    Could a regular cake pan be used? I’m at the point, in life, of trying to pare down stuff, not buy more. Though I’ve always wanted one, I just couldn’t justify getting one, for the few recipes I have that use a bundt pan.

  3. Oh this is wonderful . Since my husband got out of the hospital and can not have any sugar I am sure I can use a sugar free sweeten to make it taste nice. I have wanted to do some thing spical for him since he got out ,poor thing is now on oxygen 24 / 7 and since he has sugar it is hard to find some good recipes that even I would enjoy eating and this looks like the perfect dessert to make for us both. Thank you for the recipe 🙂

    1. I’m sorry your husband is going through a hard time. I will say a prayer for him. I have made cakes using stevia, the baking kind, where you add exactly the same amount as you would sugar. I think that would work!
