Vegetarian Meal Ideas – Armenian Pizza Lahmajoun.

Healthy and easy to make, vegetarian Middle Eastern dish.

**Forgot to include in the video a small bunch of mint.**

Recipe

1 Bunch of Parsley Chopped
3 Green Onions Chopped
Approx 15 olives (black or green, pits removed)
3 Tbsp Red Pepper Paste or Tomato Paste
1/4 Cup of Pomegranate Syrup or Juice
3 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 1/2 Tbsp Garlic Paste
1 Tbsp Salt
1 Tbsp Red Crushed Peppers
2 Tbsp Sumac or 1 Juice of Lemon
And of course add some Zaatar
Then mix all ingredients together

Cooking in a Frying Pan:

Heat Olive Oil in a frying pan
Place flat bread in the pan and cook one side
Once bottom is cooked flip over
Add mixture to the top of the flat bread and spread

Cook in Oven:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Top flatbread with mixture
Cook for 10 minutes

Enjoy a healthy, vegetarian, vegan and very tasty middle eastern dish.

  1. THE most delicious pizza ! I’ve had the lamb version for years in Boston but here it’s non existant …so sad …perhaps I’ll try to make it at home now. can you show the red pepper paste label ?
