Vegan Pizza Buns (Vegan Hot Pockets) – Vegan Back to School
These pizza buns are my vegan take on America’s favorite frozen savory filled pastry: The Hot Pocket. They are a cinch to make, and they can be tailored to meet a variety of kid cravings. Best of all, they can be stored in the freezer and then reheated in just one minute.
So, here’s my contribution to the genre of “back to school” foods, and my attempt at meal prepping. Even if you don’t have to worry about kids, or schedules, these are a great make-ahead vegan meal that you won’t be sorry you have on hand.
Whether fresh out of the oven, or reheated in the microwave, these incredible pizza buns will be a hit with children, or those that are still children at heart.

Oh my boys are gonna flip! Ima do the cheeseburger ones for meal next week.
+Monson Made This pretty sure I’m going to make a double batch. You never disappoint and I can say that of less than a handful of youtubers. Blessed to of found you.
They are incredible. I’m actually making another batch tonight.
Brilliant! Your recipes are definitely some of the most creative vegan recipes on youtube, not to mention you seem genuine & that can definitely be seen throughout your videos! 😊
Thank you for that. I have a lot of fun coming up with new recipes. Most of the time I’m just trying to veganize old flavor memories.
Check you out, Snack Master!
Those look super scrummy!!! Thanks for this.
Haha. I try. Yeah, they are super scrummy. Is that scrumptious + yummy? I’m s sucker for a good portmanteau.
Thanks for making one without fake meat. I needed something new to take to work that was easy to warm up. Great job Monson
I don’t always love to use the “fake” meats, but sometimes they are best at duplicating a specific flavor and texture. Ben doesn’t love jackfruit, it’s to briny for him, but I think they turned out great. I would also love to do a mushroom version with the BBQ pulled oyster mushrooms from my last recipe video.
Thanks for watching!
Great ideas—-Thank you!
Thank you. And thank you for watching and taking the time to comment.
Wow, those look amazing – nothing like warm bread from the oven – stuffed with goodness.
Amen to that. Savory pastries are my favorite genre of food.
Getting fancy with the thumbnail this week. As always great video. This channel really deserves more love.
Gotta show off those dormant and dusty Photoshop skills every now and again. And thank you. Not sure what the tipping point is for YouTube content, but I’m not on the other side of it just yet. Thanks for the support and taking time to comment!
