  1. But will the vegan version not taste like a banana milkshake?? That is basically how I make banana milkshakes and they do taste like banana a LOT

    1. The less ripe bananas are milder in flavor but can get a litle more acid, at least the kind that I can usually get here in mexican supermarkets, that are either oaxacan or chiapas kind, would it be a good substitution to use the vegan coconut ice cream with a little vanilla flavor or would it turn too thick for this specific recipe? Because I think the ice cream might not affect the taste as much as the banana

    2. Yes there is definitely a banana taste. My advice is to use a LESS ripe banana for less banana flavor and focus more on spices for flavor for this one 🙂

  2. I just made your vegan nog. My wife and I love it! We are vegan but it seemed like a better option since we wanted nog and didn’t want all the excess calories from the store bought. This made are night.

    1. Yea I know, they just don’t sell any egg whites or yolks or substitute where I’m from 🙁 I really wanna have a healthy eggnog

    2. egg substitute should be near the eggs and egg white cartons, it’s just egg whites that’s yellow in color 🙂
