VEGAN TALKS PLAYLIST –

Today I’m discussing an important issue that faces veganism today… the topic is CRAZY VEGANS. There were many things on my mind that I feel are interconnected to each other so I hope that it didn’t come out sounding like a mess. This video is catered to vegans AND non-vegans. Thank you for watching and I would love to hear your thoughts in the comment section.

Video used under fair use –
(FYI I was not intending this to be a response to the video above, but I just used clips from the video to illustrate some points I made in this video. It was NOT meant to attack either of the youtubers – I, in fact, do agree with some of the things they say but I also disagree with some of the faulty logic made)

  1. Ironically, I was saying to a friend yesterday that I love your video
because you are not one of those crazy vegan, and here is the proof. I
totally agree with what you say. Fighting for a cause and fighting for the
right for a living being who’s considered weaker than us, it’s not a
competition between the causes. Mixing and opposing stuff like human rights
and animal rights is just ridiculous.

  2. I honestly feel that the human species is on the cusp of some sort of major
breakthrough in a different way of thinking, similar to the industrial
revolution, like when we started to rely on machines more than human man
power. I think similarly more and more people are realizing the sentience
of animals compared to our sentience and how this can totally change the
way we eat, our physiology even. I do still feel like it’s only natural to
eat meat as animals do, but I also feel we are so intellegent now as a
species the next logical step would be to evolve to not eat meat, as it is
immoral. who knows maybe next we will learn to speak with all animals. I
mean we already can with some monkeys through sign language.
There is one thing that bothers me tho..how do we know if plants aren’t
sentient in some sort of way? A few decades ago scientists didn’t think
    fish could feel pain.

  3. Im SO sorry, I would REALLY love to quote you for my essay i’m doing for
English and I chose my topic to be animal rights and speciesism. There’s no
other way to word anything, you did it so perfectly but I don’t know your
name. What would you prefer me to address to you as?

  4. April, I was with you until the last meal argument. they are *NOT* treated
like kings. they get fed slop for years and years while being
psychologically tortured by never knowing if this appeal is going to save
your life and if maybe the next one will or none will. not to mention the
high risk of physical/sexual assault and the overuse of solitary
confinement, which has been deemed in most places to be “cruel and unusual
punishment.” then after years of that, they get one last meal (sometimes),
and that’s supposed to assuage us from the guilt of taking another human’s
    life.

I understand your sentiment, but you should do more than google last meals
before you declare that death row inmates have it so great.
