RECIPE
3/4 cup organic sugar
1/4 cup oil (vegetable, canola, or other neutral oil)
3 Tbsp. water
2 tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. vegan red food coloring
2 cups gluten-free oat flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup organic powdered sugar
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. To a bowl, add sugar, oil, water, cocoa powder, vanilla, and red food coloring. Stir until well combined. Add oat flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir well. Put the powdered sugar into another bowl. Roll the dough into balls, and then into the powdered sugar, before placing on a greased cookie pan. Bake 14-16 minutes. Let cool on the pan for a minute before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely. Makes about 20 cookies—depending on size.
