CHERRY CAKE recipe – vegan – one bowl -no milk, no eggs, no butter

CHERRY CAKE recipe
Preheat oven to 350 Fahrenheit (176 C)

In a bowl, mix together:
2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Add:
1 cup water
4 Tablespoons cooking oil
1 Tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Beat to form a batter.
Pour into a greased pie pan,
Bake for approx. 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Frost with buttercream frosting:

Decorate with cherries.

  3. Oh yum!!! I was just cleaning out my freezer and I have some frozen cherries from our cherry tree. Was wondering what to do with them to use them up so they do not go to waste. Bingo! You have just solved my dilemma! Thank you for this delicious idea!
