It’s the last Vegan recipe in this series and it’s a big one! This is such a naughty cake for all of those chocoholics out there who need to get their plant-based cake on.

2tps apple cider vinegar
240g sunflower or other vegan spread
400g caster sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
430g self raising flour

HI Jemma, may I know your castor sugar are char bone free??
Hi Jemma,
All your cakes are lovely and have tried a lot of them.
Well, if I wanted to substitute the sunflower butter, can I use regular butter – of course I know it wont be vegan. Do let me know. Want ti bake it tonight!
You are the best!!!
You can use aquafaba or flax egg to substitute the egg whites
Drool! That looks amazing! Vegan and chocolate is a win win! Jemma, do you ever want to pick up the uncut cake and eat it like a big cheeseburger? Sometimes I do that with my birthday cake.
