RECIPE!
1 cup oats
1/2 cup cashews
5 dates (if not soft, soak 1 hr)
blend these ingredients together
then add
2 tbsp water
1 tsp vanilla extract
a pinch of salt
blend again until it forms a dough
gently add in 1/4 c chocolate chips and roll into balls
Makes 12 – 100 calorie cookie dough bites!

yum! do you store them in the fridge or just the pantry?
oh Hannah.. these are soooo GOOD! I just tried them and rolled some in
kakao powder, some in shredded coconut and some in grounded hazelnuts. They

Thank you for this! I do think my children will try it – and even – OMG –
LIKE IT! It is so hard to find healthy food they will accept, let alone,
that they can bring to school. Snack foods like this are perfect. Can’t
wait to try making these.
Would this work in a mixer? I don’t have a food processor…
has anyone tried this with a vitamix? does it work ok?
these are soooo yummy, I only put 4 dates in and they were perfect!
Just made these! Had no dates though, so I used half a banana + spoonful of
wowbutter, and used sunflower seeds instead of nuts. NOMZ
