Vegan Cake Pops wonderfully displayed in a piece of birch trunk

Cake Pops are great little cakes which look like lollipops. In this video I show you how to make vegan Cake Pops and how to present them in a nice way.

Recipe

What you need:

1.5 cups flour
2 tablespoons cacao powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
0.5 teaspoon baking soda
0.5 teaspoon salt
1 cup of plant or nut milk
0.5 banana
0.5 cup of coconut oil
1 cup of sugar
3 bars of chocolate

Mix all dry ingredients and wet ingredients separate. Mash the banana with the 0.25 coconut oil in another bowl. Add mashed banana and wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and knead it until you get a nice and even dough. Spread the dough on a baking tray and bake it at 180°C for about 20 minutes.

Let cool down the dough.

Crumble the dough into small peaces and stir in the rest of the coconut oil until the dough gets soft and slightly sticky again. Form small golf size balls, place them on a parchment lined baking tray and insert a cake pops sticks right into the center of each ball.

Put the tray in the freezer for about 30 min.

Melt the chocolate bars in a bowl inside a water bath. Get the frozen cake pops out of the freezer and dip them into the melted chocolate.
