HI GUYS!! I have another super quick video for you guys – another Korean vegan recipe 🙂 This is seriously super easy (although you’ll see that I had a bit of a fail moment in this video haha) if you can get your hands on some of these glass noodles!
If you guys don’t know, Japchae is a famous Korean dish made up of these glass noodles and is super easy to veganise (just have to not add meat…). I’m sure I could’ve made this a little more authentic but this tasted pretty delicious to me and that’s how we do it here on CLV.
The glass noodles are called “Dang Myun” and you can find it in Korean or Asian supermarkets or…. on Amazon. I would suggest trying to look for it in an Asian supermarket first, because it will most likely be cheaper! These noodles are SUPER delicious – trust me!

Hey girl can you please do another recipe with the sweet potato glass noodles, I bought a big patch and I would like to use them in different recipes.

Craved this today and went to a Korean resro. Yummmm. I searched how to make it and got here. Woohoo making this soon thanks. The noodles are gluten free right?
I tryed to make japche and it even said vegan on the packet of the noodles, but when i cooked them they smelled fishy and know im confused are there brands which arent vegan?
Dieter Schiefen next time maybe ask if they have “dangmyun” or glass noodles for japchae they should know what you’re talking about but usually even the small korean or Asian markets carry them.
