NO BAKE Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Oat cookies recipe (vegan & gluten free)

NO BAKE CHOCOLATE, PEANUT BUTTER, OAT COOKIES
In a saucepan mix:
1 3/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder,
1/2 cup butter, margarine, vegan Earth Balance, or Coconut Oil
1/2 cup water
Bring to a boil on a medium burner, and boil for 1 minute.
Remove from heat, add:
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 cups rolled oats
Mix together, spoon onto a greased
plate or sheet, (or waxed paper),
refrigerate until hardened.

You can also omit the peanut butter and add coconut!!
These are probably my favorite cookies, but the usual recipe is with milk. Mine usually end up runny so using water instead of milk will probably make them hold together better. Thanks!
You have to make sure you boil it long enough
i have a peanut allergy, so might try this with cashew or almond butter,
my kids love these, one of my girl friends said my youngest would always show up at her door when she made them, it seems like he always knew, though I like these I love the peanut butter without the cocoa, maybe cause I have better luck in getting one thanks for sharing, my nephew and his family are vegan and I always like to share recipes or make something special when they come home from Kansas, bless you
