  1. Why fast while trying to grow muscle? Or is your goal to get lean? Growing muscle = eat eat eat

  2. Those other vegan bodybuilders also have much more time than you do to dedicate to training! This is something I remind myself of when I get down about not seeing enough results. You’ve got a cafe to dedicate time to and their whole career is bodybuilding. Cut yourself some slack, Rose. You are consistent with the gym and your diet, you’re doing great!

  3. I saw a guy on Happy Healthy Vegan that only at about 60 grams of protein a day and was super jacked. Even when bodybuilding adding more than 5-10 extra grams a day is just filtered out by our kidneys. When you’re tearing that much muscle every day a more alkaline environment is best, which is jeopardized with too much protein. I’d be more concerned with tracking and supplementing vitamins and minerals. I’m the Broth Bomb guy; our fizzy seasoning mixes actually help with weight training. I did a ton of research into all this beforehand. There’s a post on our blog about it.

  4. when i did intermittent fasting, my hair started falling out. I simply can not eat the calories my body requires in in a limited window of time. my stomach is too small.
