Hey Cheri. May I ask you a personal question? I know that as a Nutritarian, you eat a vegan diet. But how do you feel about the vegan lifestyle ethically? Hey Cheri! Great info and so true. I asked Dr. Fuhrman at the Getaway in 2015 this same question and he dittoed your comments. Specifically, drink water when you are thirsty, drink water when you exercise b/c you will get thirsty, and that drinking too much water will result in peeing out nutrients you just made the effort to take in. Hope things are great with you : )
Obviously it depends a lot on if you exercise. I’m surprised the Nutritarian lifestyle doesn’t promote exercise more. How do you expect to maintain your bones and muscles as you get older? If you’re training for something like marathon you need more water (and a bit more salt).
Nice video–very informative. Glad you mentioned kidney stones as Dr Fuhrman recently commented that juicing spinach or too much spinach can cause kidney stones due to the high oxalic acid…variety. I love water and lemon or lime water so /I have to watch I don’t overdo it!
