In this episode of Abbey’s Kitchen, Abbey is getting ready for the holidays and trying to adjust to the very cold weather. With the busy holiday shopping and entertaining, you likely need a drink and Abbey has you covered! Today Abbey is sharing three of her all time favourite warm cozy cocktails. All these cocktails are vegan, gluten free and totally delicious.
Let’s do this.
(0:33) First up is Abbey’s Cozy Coconut
To a sauce pot, add almond coconut milk, unsweetened cocoa powder. Stir over medium heat. Once the cocoa powder has dissolved, add spiced rum and take it off the heat. Next pour into mug, top it off with coconut whip cream, sprinkle of cinnamon and toasted chips.
(1:06) Next up is Abbey’s Spiced Pumpkin Cider
To a sauce pot over medium heat, add apple cider, sliced ginger and pumpkin puree. Whisk until it comes together. Add some bourbon off the heat and give it a good strain. Pour into serving mug and top it off with pumpkin pie spice, apple chips and a cinnamon stick.
(1:38) Finally, Abbey’s Dirty Chai Almond Tea
To a sauce pot add some almond milk, chai tea bags, star anise and cinnamon sticks. Let it simmer for five to ten minutes. Add maple syrup and Kahula off the heat, some almond creamer and give it a good stir. Give it a strain and then transfer to serving mug. Finish it off with a sprinkle of cinnamon and a cinnamon stick.
Enjoy!
Abbey is your guardian angel of the cocktails, and she’s got three amazing drinks for you to try! Abbey’s going for the chai tea and is loving it!

I don’t even know where to start. I think I’m going to try that coconut one first.
Hm what is almond coconut milk? Both milks mixed? I don’t buy industrialised products much
Oh I think that Dirty Chai maybe a new fave! I usually go with the classic Hot Toddy so whiskey, honey and hot water with a squeeze of lemon. Or Berry Tea with a shot of Amaretto ☕
