Golden Milk: A Turmeric Drink | Raw, Vegetarian, Vegan | Living Better with Jeremiah Vielleux

This is a video showing how to make the delicious Golden Milk. This drink can be served cold or you can heat it on the stove for about 5 minutes and drink hot like tea. This Golden Milk recipe is raw, vegetarian and vegan friendly.

Turmeric is special ingredient in Golden Milk. Turmeric is a powerful spice that has been used in the Chinese and Indian systems of medicine as an anti-inflammatory agent to treat a wide variety of conditions, including flatulence, jaundice, menstrual difficulties, bloody urine, hemorrhage, toothache, bruises, chest pain, and colic. Recipe:
16 Oz. Coconut Milk
1 Tbs. Turmeric Powder
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/8 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
2 Tbs. Maple Syrup
1 Tbs. Ginger, fresh

  1. Health tip that a lot of people don’t know: you should change the Cayanne
    pepper to black pepper or add some oil to this. You might not have to
    because the coconut oil probably has natural oils in it but in order to get
    the medicinal properties of turmeric you need to put black pepper or some
    shit oil in it for your body to really absorb it. So it’s good to use
    Curcumin that’s like .05 or something like that… I get mine on Amazon and I
    just make sure that it’s medical grade and I buy in bulk so it’s cheaper
    that way I get the anti-inflammatory properties. I love this recipe though
    because it’s really healthy and taking the coconut milk would make the
    turmeric taste much better than having it in my coffee! I can’t wait to try
    this
