What brand of dog food do you buy?
In Ireland (and I’m sure in the rest of Europe too) stores charge for plastic bags.
i used to buy bulk all the time, but i work at whole foods and i see what customers do to those. homeless people, regular customers, kids, everyone sticks their dirty hands in there. i never buy bulk anymore, which is really sad, because it is better for the environment. salad bar too. i used to complain all the time about cross contamination. they used to have the delcious lemon pepper baked tofu right next to tuna. people are messy, i couldn’t buy the vegan stuff because people would splash the food into other containers. these tips are great on paper, but we need some global changes, and people changes in order for things to do some real good, it’s probably different in Canada, but people are jerks in the states. i’ve worked in retail 16 years, i’ve seen a lot and it’s all disturbing. don’t get me wrong, i love the tips, and i do try to be as eco friendly as possible, but there are road bumps. <3
